About
Hi — I'm Yonah.
I built ShalomSim because every "best eSIM for Israel" guide I read before my last trip was written by someone who'd clearly never been to Israel.
They confused the West Bank coverage situation, missed that Holafly throttles after 500 MB/day, and recommended providers I'd never heard of in exchange for inflated commissions.
So I made the guide I wish I'd had.
What ShalomSim is
ShalomSim compares two providers — Airalo and Holafly. That's it. Both are excellent for Israel; they're just optimized for different travelers. The comparison page explains which one to pick based on how you travel.
I update prices and coverage notes whenever providers change them. If something on this site is out of date, please tell me.
How it stays honest
When you click through to Airalo or Holafly from this site and buy, I earn a small commission. It doesn't cost you anything extra. I only recommend providers I'd recommend to a friend landing tomorrow — these two pay me less than some shadier providers offered, and that's fine.
